The role

We're looking for someone who loves to bring a project to life – from design to code, testing and deployment – you'll be a person who has great attention to detail and an ability to translate a design into a working app using Flutter. You'll be super experienced with complex flows and apps that rely on interactions with a backend.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Build applications using the Flutter framework for iOS and Android devices

  • Write readable code using the Dart programming language

  • Use internal systems (such as project management tools) and keep project details up to date

  • Use external systems (such as Github, Codemagic and Figma) to assist in the development process

  • Optimize app performance and ensure compatibility across devices

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure app stability

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements

  • Work with Product Managers, Product Designers and Backend Engineers

  • Ensure goals, targets and deadlines are met

  • Keep up to date with new or changed products, services and systems

Work experience and skills

  • Proven experience as a Flutter Developer or similar role (at least 3 years of experience)

  • Strong understanding of the Dart programming language and Flutter framework

  • Good understanding of using third party libraries and APIs

  • Clear communicator and positive 'always can' attitude

  • Excellent attention to detail, good time management skills and ability to multitask

  • Advanced to Proficient level English is required

  • Previous experience in software development for the financial industry is a plus
