About the role

We are seeking skilled Cook/Commis to join our team at PT Sodexo Sinergi Indonesia in West Jakarta on a contract basis. As a cook, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the preparation of high-quality meals for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading food services provider in the hospitality industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of meals and dishes according to established recipes and procedures
  2. Ensure proper food handling and storage to maintain the highest standards of safety and hygiene
  3. Operate kitchen equipment and utensils efficiently and safely
  4. Maintain a clean, organised and sanitary work environment in the kitchen
  5. Follow all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
  6. Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum high school or equivalent
  2. Previous experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen or catering environment, handling at least 200 pax
  3. Prior exposure to a hospital catering setting is a plus
  4. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team
  5. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
  6. Good communication skills to understand and follow instructions
  7. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
  8. Able to join immediately
