Join Beauty World, a growing player in the beauty, health, and wellness industry, as we expand our international supply chain footprint. We're looking for an Import Specialist who is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in managing end-to-end import operations.

About the Role

As our Import Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all imported materials and finished goods flow smoothly from overseas suppliers to our warehouse. You will manage import documentation, coordinate with forwarders, handle customs clearance, ensure compliance, and safeguard operational accuracy. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong mastery of Indonesian import regulations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, verify, and maintain all import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, COO, HS Code classification, and other compliance documents.
  • Coordinate closely with forwarders for PIB issuance, duty/tax calculation, and shipment scheduling.
  • Execute end-to-end customs clearance processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Indonesian import regulations (Bea Cukai).
  • Communicate and follow up with overseas suppliers, shipping lines/airlines, trucking providers, surveyors, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth shipment flow.
  • Monitor shipment movements from port/airport unloading to warehouse delivery, including on-site container checks during receiving.
  • Ensure all activities strictly follow internal SOPs and government regulations.
  • Conduct import cost analysis, prepare final landing cost, and submit complete documentation for Finance invoice processing.
  • Maintain strong understanding of changing import regulations, prohibitions/restrictions (Lartas), permits (NIB, SNI, BPOM if applicable), and ensure business compliance.
  • Handle issue resolution related to delays, document discrepancies, customs inquiries, or operational bottlenecks.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Import, Supply Chain, Customs, or related roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, HS Code classification, PIB preparation, and import clearance procedures.
  • Proven ability to manage logistics documentation and end-to-end shipment processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail in document checking and compliance.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with both local and overseas stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and import-related digital systems.
  • Good command of English (verbal and written).
