About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Supervisor & QA/QC Supervisor to join our growing manufacturing team at PT. CAMBRIDGE INDUSTRIAL BATAM' in Batam, Riau Islands. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the assembly process and ensuring the highest quality standards are met for our products.

What you'll be doing

Assembly Supervisor:

  • Supervise and manage daily assembly operations to meet production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules
  • Plan, organize, and control assembly lines for plastic molding and electronic products
  • Ensure proper implementation of manual assembly processes and correct use of assembly tools
  • Monitor manpower allocation, productivity, and workflow efficiency
  • Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, and Engineering teams to resolve assembly and production issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and company regulations
  • Lead, motivate, and develop assembly team members

QA/QC Supervisor:

  • Supervise and control QA/QC activities to ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements
  • Conduct inspections and testing using relevant testing instruments
  • Monitor and control quality processes in plastic molding and electronic manufacturing
  • Prepare, review, and maintain Quality Assurance / Quality Control reports
  • Input, analyze, and manage quality data using the ERP system
  • Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams for continuous quality improvement

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Assembly Supervisor or in a similar role (for Assembly Supervisor)
  • Strong understanding of manual assembly processes and assembly tools (for Assembly Supervisor)
  • Able to manage and optimize assembly lines (for Assembly Supervisor)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA/QC Supervisor or similar role (for QA/QC Supervisor)
  • Familiar with and able to use ERP systems (for QA/QC Supervisor)
  • Strong knowledge of testing instruments and quality inspection methods (for QA/QC Supervisor)
  • Experienced in preparing QA/QC and Quality Assurance reports (for QA/QC Supervisor)
  • Proven experience in plastic molding and electronic manufacturing
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and strong communication skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to communicate in English (spoken and written)
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage
  • Willing to work in a shift system
