Client Details: Healthcare & Medical Distributions

Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on sales data, market trends, and historical performance.
  • Lead monthly demand planning and actively participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings.

  • Track forecast accuracy and adjust plans to align with business targets.

  • Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely material delivery.

  • Supervise purchasing operations, ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and risk management.
  • Analyze supplier performance, pricing, and product quality to secure the best value.

  • Optimize inventory levels to meet customer needs while minimizing excess or obsolete stock.

  • Monitor stock movements and adjust purchasing to prevent shortages or overstocking.

  • Support product lifecycle management, including new launches and phase-outs.

  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, and finance to align forecasts and business strategies.

  • Report on key performance metrics related to demand, procurement, and inventory management.

  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies for demand planning and procurement.

  • Lead, coach, and evaluate the performance of planning and purchasing teams.

  • Contribute to strategic supply chain and budgeting decisions to support company goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like supply chain management, operations, or business analytics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and forecasting skills.
  • Proven experiences in handling Healthcare/Medical/Pharmaceuticals products is highly preferred
  • Proficiency with forecasting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and purchasing practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in a managerial role is often required.
