Our client, a newly established manufacturing company, is seeking a Mandarin Translator to support smooth and accurate communication within the plant. The role will serve as a bridge between Mandarin, English, and Indonesian across departments, ensuring clarity in both technical and managerial contexts.

Job Descriptions:

  • Translate documents, reports, and communications between Mandarin with English or Indonesian.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural sensitivity in all translations.
  • Proofread and edit translated materials for grammar, terminology, and tone.
  • Provide interpretation support for meetings, phone calls, or video conferences when required.
  • Collaborate with Operations, HR, and Management teams to enhance internal and external communication.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Chinese Language, Communication, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proficient in Mandarin, both spoken and written.
  • Minimum 1-2 years proven experience as a translator, interpreter, or related language specialist, especially in manufacturing sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and writing style in both languages.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to ensure contextual accuracy and understanding of specific terminology.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a HSK certification is preferred.
