About The Role

This isn't a traditional HR role — it's a chance to shape the employee experience in a fast‑moving, high‑growth startup. As part of our People Operations team, you'll help build the systems, culture, and processes that keep our teams engaged, supported, and growing.

What You'll Do

  • Run core People Operations
    to keep the employee lifecycle smooth and efficient — from onboarding to evaluations to day‑to‑day HR processes.
  • Gather insights on productivity, engagement, and motivation
    , helping us understand what our people need to thrive and where we can improve.
  • Be the bridge between employees and leadership
    , ensuring both sides feel heard, supported, and aligned.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives
    that make ZUZU an energizing, connected, and fun place to work.
  • Communicate confidently across all levels
    — from new hires to senior leadership — building trust and strong working relationships.
  • Refine and improve People Ops processes
    , transforming the function into a true centre of excellence as we scale.
  • Support recruitment efforts
    , helping us attract and hire great talent quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate People Ops data and documentation
    , ensuring compliance and smooth operations.
  • Champion a positive employee experience

  • Take on additional HR operations tasks

About You

  • You're fluent in English and confident communicating with anyone — from new joiners to senior leaders.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in HR (Generalist, Recruiter, or People Ops).
  • You understand Indonesian labour law and can apply it in a practical, people‑centric way.
  • You're passionate about people — how they work, what motivates them, and how to help them thrive.
  • You're emotionally intelligent and comfortable being the bridge between employees and management.
  • You're proactive, resourceful, and excited to take ownership in a fast‑growing startup where things move quickly.
  • You love improving processes, spotting inefficiencies, and turning People Ops into a centre of excellence.
