Accounting & Finance Jr Manager (SAP HANA)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing processes within the SAP HANA environment, ensuring all financial data is properly reconciled.
  • General Ledger (GL) Management: Prepare, review, and post journal entries and manage the integrity of the General Ledger in SAP.
  • Perform and review complex account reconciliations (e.g., bank, intercompany, balance sheet accounts) with an emphasis on using SAP tools for faster data analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and supporting schedules for management review, utilizing SAP HANA's reporting capabilities.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee and manage daily AP and AR operations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed in SAP.

  • Tax Journal Entries & Reconciliation: Prepare and post tax-related journal entries, reconcile all tax accounts (deferred tax assets/liabilities, taxes payable), and ensure alignment with the GL data in SAP

  • Audit Support: Coordinate and assist with internal and external financial audits, preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries, often by generating reports directly from SAP HANA.

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis tasks, leveraging SAP's financial planning and analysis tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 4-5 years of progressive accounting and tax experience with Japanese Manufacturing experiences

  • SAP HANA/S/4HANA Experience (Mandatory): Hands-on working experience with SAP HANA or SAP S/4HANA Finance is required, particularly with core modules like:

  • FI (Financial Accounting): General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA).

  • CO (Controlling/Management Accounting): Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting.
  • Hold Brevet A,B, and C
  • Advanced Data Skills: Proficiency in generating and analyzing reports using SAP HANA's embedded analytics or reporting tools.
  • Microsoft Excel: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling).
  • Willing to work at Cikarang area.
