We are a growing specialty chemical trading company serving leading manufacturers in the paints, coatings, and ink industries across Indonesia. As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a Senior HR Officer to help build a stronger, more accountable, and performance-driven organization.
In this role, you will take ownership of our full HR function — from performance management and KPI tracking to compliance, employee engagement and management, and certification (including Ecovadis certification). You'll work closely with the leadership team to design and implement people strategies that directly support business growth and operational excellence.

Position Summary:The Senior HR Officer is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction. This includes KPIs implementation, performance management, employee engagement, regulatory compliance, and relevant certifications (both from customer or other regulatory bodies).
Key Responsibilities:HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure company policies comply with Indonesian labor laws and safety regulations (HSE), as well as other relevant regulations.
- Oversee employee contracts, attendance records, and disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate audits and maintain HR records in case of legal review or certification.
- Coordinate with warehouse team in case of customer/suppliers audit
- Coordinate with relevant consultants in terms of getting the relevant licenses (e.g. UKL UPL, Andalalin, PBG, etc.)
Develop relevant policies that can benefit the Company operations
Performance Management & KPIs
Develop and implement KPIs for Sales, Product Development, Marketing Support , Finance & Accounting Teams.
- Organize yearly/every 6 months performance reviews and support career development discussions.
Align KPIs with company targets and Principal expectations.
Talent Management
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Coordinate internal training programs (technical and soft skills).
Build a succession plan for key roles.
Organizational Development
Propose and implement HR initiatives to improve employee productivity and satisfaction (e.g., incentive schemes, team-building programs).
Monitor employee engagement levels and act on feedback.
Sustainability & Certifications
Lead yearly Ecovadis recertification including data gathering, team coordination, and documentation.
- Support any additional ESG or sustainability reporting.
Lead and coordinate with the relevant stakeholders in case if there is any audit (either from customer, suppliers or regulatory bodies)
HR Systems & Reporting
Implement or maintain digital HR tools (e.g., attendance tracking, leave management).
- Provide monthly reports on headcount, attendance, attrition, training hours, etc.
Minimum job experience: at least 4-5 years
Language: Excellent in Bahasa Indonesia and proficient in English
