Computesta is an established digital agency based in Jakarta, providing services for social media management, event organization, and website development and maintenance.

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist who is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about digital content.

This role manages social media activities for multiple brands—primarily on Instagram and TikTok, while also supporting Facebook and LinkedIn when needed.

You will be responsible for content planning, scheduling, creative coordination, and ensuring each piece of content aligns with the brand's identity and storytelling direction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop monthly and weekly content plans for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn (as needed).
  • Prepare visual mood boards to guide creative direction and storytelling consistency.
  • Manage daily posting schedules and social media operations across all assigned platforms.
  • Write and adapt captions, including localization into Bahasa Indonesia when required.
  • Create or support the creation of LinkedIn-specific content such as corporate updates, announcements, milestones, or industry insights (considered a strong plus).
  • Collect, organize, and manage content assets from clients (photos, videos, product materials, etc.).
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams including the Creative Designer and Video Editor for content production.
  • Assist during content shoots at brand locations or studio settings as required.
  • Monitor early-stage content performance using analytics tools and platform insights.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports with engagement metrics, impressions, growth insights, and recommendations.
  • Communicate with clients for approvals, feedback, revisions, and content requirements.
  • Stay updated on trends across all social platforms, especially Instagram & TikTok.
  • Support occasional weekend activities when required (with compensatory arrangements).
  • Willing to travel for out-of-town shoots when needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Social Media Specialist or related role.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram & TikTok algorithms, formats, and trends.
  • Awareness of cross-platform trends (Facebook, YouTube Shorts, X, and especially LinkedIn).
  • Ability to create content plans, mood boards, and engaging captions.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in both Bahasa and English.
  • Good sense of visual direction and storytelling.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics dashboards.
  • Experience producing or supporting LinkedIn content (corporate posts, announcements, value-driven insights) is a big plus.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.
  • Comfortable collaborating with creative and video production teams.
  • Willing to attend shoots within Jakarta and travel when required.
  • Positive, proactive, open-minded, and self-motivated.
  • Willing to be placed in Meruya, West Jakarta.
