- As a social media specialist, you will be responsible for elevating Jiva's online presence and building a thriving community of followers on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. By crafting and scheduling engaging content, interacting with followers, and tracking and analyzing metrics, you will play a key role in effectively communicating Jiva's purpose, achievements, and brand to potential employees, partners, and investors.As part of this role, the social media specialist will need to work collaboratively with individuals across the business to gather content and ideas for social media posts. There may also be times when field trips to see Jiva's operations in villages may be necessary to help capture the impact Jiva is driving and share it with our social media followers.Jiva's corporate brand team is lean, allowing for ownership and speed of delivery. This role will be fast-paced, with opportunities for personal growth and autonomy.**Key Accountabilities**
- Develop and implement social media strategies across Jiva’s social media channels, that aligns with the overall goals of Jiva, and helps promote our mission and vision to an external audience.Create and schedule engaging and relevant content for Jiva’s social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc) in line with key business objectives for corporate content.
-Foster a sense of community among followers by interacting with them and encouraging engagement.
-Analyze metrics and report on the performance of social media campaigns and initiatives.
-Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices.
-Support the development of internal communication across Jiva for internal initiatives and improved company culture
- Work collaborative with teams across the business in the development of new content for Jiva, as well as supporting content initiatives specific to their functions (e.g Design and product thought leadership)
- Highly creative and eager to explore and try new styles and content mediums to identify best fit for Jiva’s social media channelsA confident video and image creator for use on social media
-Excellent communication skills
-Eager to work in a rapidly changing, dynamic start-up environment;
-Is a purpose-driven individual with a deep alignment to our mission to help smallholder farmers
-Good analytical skills, able to use data to identify trends in social media performance and adapt strategies accordingly
- Highly structured and organised, capable of owning multiple social media channels simultaneously

**Competencies**:

- University degree in marketing, communications, public relations or significant relevant industry experienceminimum 2 years experience as a social media specialist for a startup, technology company, advertising/branding agency or public affairs agency
-Experienced in managing multiple social media channels across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok)
-Proficient in video editing and image editing
-Experienced in creating and owning content calendars, and ensuring timely delivery against deadlines
- Fluent written and spoken English and Bahasa
