Responsibilities

  • Planning and creating detailed production schedules (weekly, monthly, yearly) to meet volume targets and delivery dates agreed upon with buyers.
  • Ensuring the adequate availability of resources, including raw materials (fabric, thread, accessories), machinery, equipment, and workforce.
  • Overseeing all production stages, from fabric cutting and sewing to quality control (QC), finishing, and packing, to ensure processes run smoothly and meet standards.
  • Establishing and monitoring strict quality control standards, collaborating with the QC department to minimize defective products, and ensuring the final product matches buyer specifications.
  • Analyzing the production budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities, optimizing processes to improve productivity, and minimizing waste of materials and time.
  • Leading, motivating, and managing the production team, which includes providing direction, evaluating performance, identifying training needs, and maintaining work discipline.
  • Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production machines and equipment to prevent breakdowns and avoid unscheduled production halts.
  • Serving as a liaison and coordinating effectively with other departments, such as merchandising (for order details), warehousing (material availability), sales, and senior management to ensure smooth operations across the board.
  • Ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed in the production area to create a safe working environment for employees.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Production Management (Textile & Apparel)
  • 5+ years of production experience in lingerie manufacturing
  • Strong organizational and managerial skills
  • Proficiency in English (Local Language is a must for expatriate)
