As NPD Manager,
you will be responsible for leading the end to end development of new products, from concept ideation, formulation, testing. This role ensures that products are innovative, market relevant, compliant with regulations, and aligned with business and brand strategy.

  • Lead the end to end new product development process from ideation to launch.
  • Develop product concepts based on market trends, consumer insights, and business strategy.
  • Oversee formulation development, prototype creation, and product optimization.
  • Ensure products meet performance, quality, cost, and timeline targets.
  • Conduct market and trend research to identify new product opportunities.
  • Analyze consumer needs, competitor products, and industry innovations.
  • Translate insights into actionable product concepts and specifications.
  • Work closely & lead cross functional teams, including design, marketing, brand, sales, supply chain, manufacturing throughout the product lifecycle
  • Align product development timelines with go to market plans.
  • Ensure all products comply with applicable regulations, safety standards, and certifications
  • Coordinate product testing, stability tests, and documentation.
  • Maintain proper technical documentation and product dossiers.
  • Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously.
  • Define project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure on time delivery.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and laboratories for raw materials and formulations.
  • Optimize formulation costs without compromising quality and performance.
  • Evaluate and qualify new suppliers and materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Cosmetic Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in NPD or R&D, manager level, preferably in beauty, FMCG, or consumer goods.
  • Proven experience managing end to end product development projects.
  • Experience working with manufacturers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong understanding of product formulation and development processes.
  • Excellent project management and problem solving skills.
  • Strong analytical, research, and data driven mindset.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and communicate effectively.
  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership.
