Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the technical, maintenance, and workshop operations for the company's fleet (trucks, heavy vehicles, supporting equipment).
  • Ensure all vehicles and equipment are in optimal operational condition, meeting safety, reliability, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement preventive & predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and maintain efficiency.
  • Oversee troubleshooting, repair activities, workshop operations, and maintenance scheduling.
  • Manage technical budgeting, spare parts inventory, vendor selection, and cost-control initiatives.
  • Conduct regular fleet inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and transportation regulations.
  • Support operations team by providing technical expertise during breakdowns, emergencies, and route assignments.
  • Lead, train, and mentor mechanics and technical staff to improve capability and productivity.
  • Collaborate with management to identify improvement opportunities in fleet performance, fuel efficiency, and lifespan optimization.
  • Prepare technical reports, maintenance KPIs, and fleet performance analyses.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in fleet maintenance, logistics operations, transportation, or trucking industry.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engines, truck maintenance, workshop systems, and spare-part management.
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing fleet maintenance programs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Willing to work onsite and travel to workshop/operational areas when required.
