To deliver full financial transparency, control, and foresight across LeyLines' luxury property developments in Bali by ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful reporting on cashflow, profitability, and financial performance. The LeyLines Group spans across multiple Indonesian and Hong Kong companies.

This role exists to equip senior management with clear, decision-ready financial intelligence, enabling confident capital allocation, disciplined cost control, and sustainable profit growth across all projects. By owning budgets, forecasts, and cash visibility end-to-end, the role safeguards liquidity, strengthens financial discipline, and supports LeyLines' strategic expansion with data-driven clarity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage annual budgets and profit targets, rolling forecasts, and mid-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and accurate cashflow projections.
  • Monitor and analyze and profitability cashflow trends, identifying potential shortfalls or surpluses, and recommending strategies to maintain liquidity and financial stability.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial data analysis, including variance reporting, KPI tracking, and scenario modeling to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare management dashboards and ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership, highlighting key insights on profitability, cost efficiency, and revenue drivers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, sales) to gather inputs for budgeting and forecasting, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Review and streamline financial processes to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency, leveraging cloud-based accounting tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar software.
  • Assist in month-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals related to budgeting and cashflow.
  • Support tax compliance with a focus on budgeting for fiscal obligations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, accounting, or financial analysis, with a proven track record in cashflow management and budgeting.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools (e.g., Advanced Excel).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, IFRS standards, and cashflow forecasting techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders. English mandatory, Bahasa is a plus.
  • Experience in preparing concise reports for senior management.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independent - taking full ownership of tasks yet a good team player.
  • Knowledge of construction / development is a strong plus.
