JOB OBJECTIVE

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Coordinator are responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring an effective Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system to ensure that program activities are carried out as planned, achieve the desired outcomes, and generate ongoing learning for future program improvement

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Monitoring and Evaluation

  2. Develop and manage logical frameworks (logframes), M&E work plans, and determine and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for the project.

  3. Conduct regular field monitoring activities to collect data on program implementation and outcomes.
  4. Conduct periodic evaluations of program effectiveness and interventions.

  5. Establish and manage M&E databases, ensuring that collected data is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.

  6. Reporting and Documentation

  7. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports based on high-quality data in two languages (Indonesian and English).

  8. Provide data-driven information for strategic decision-making.

  9. Document best practices, lessons learned, and success stories.

  10. Learning and Capacity Development

  11. Design and facilitate learning programs to enhance the capacity of the internal project team.

  12. Build and promote a culture of continuous learning across the project team.

  13. Coordination and Collaboration

  14. Coordinate with program, finance, and field partner teams to synchronize data and reporting.

  15. Collaborate with local communities and stakeholders in participatory monitoring processes.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  2. At least 8 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) in the agriculture, environmental, or social sectors.
  3. In-depth knowledge of data collection and analysis platforms and systems.
  4. Excellent analytical reporting skills.
  5. Strong understanding of result-based management approaches.
  6. Experience working with indigenous communities, conservation-based programs, or sustainable development initiatives.
  7. Experience with gender and social inclusion approaches in M&E systems.
  8. Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  9. Must be proficient in using Ms. Office, Google Looker Studio, Ona ODK, KoboToolbox, and other supporting applications.
  10. Willing to be based at the Site - Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan.
