The Opportunity
This role offers an opportunity to be a key part of the claims operations team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims documents and payments. By maintaining precise records, assigning cases efficiently, and supporting assessors, you help uphold our commitment to delivering a seamless claims experience for customers. You'll gain hands-on exposure to core systems, compliance processes, and cross-functional projects that drive operational excellence.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage all incoming claims documents received from digital channel or physical mode including log in case register and update listing accordingly within 1 business day
Perform claim register with correct event details and claim reserve.
Ensure proper maintenance of claims recording and updating in core system, imaging system
Assigned new claims and claims reply (requirement) to relevant claim assessor
Assist claims assessor in preparing manual outgoing claims correspondences such as payment letter, reminders and etc
Ensure manual batch process including generation of claims correspondences letter, member files generated in core system during business days
Administrated stale cheque, unpresented claim payment, unclaimed money including payment reissuance
Assist claims assessor in validating and preparing non claim payment to Third Party Claims Administrator on timely manner
Manage returned mails and ensure proper recording in place
Execute administrative tasks according to Standard of Procedure, company policy, established rules and guideline
Actively participate in claims projects that improve effectiveness and efficiency
Execute plan, projects, special assignments and other task assigned by superior / head of department / senior management
Required Qualifications:
Minimum diploma in any discipline or equivalent experience
Industry certifications or equivalent insurance qualification such as LOMA (is an advantage)
At least 3-5 years of working experience in claims assessment or insurance operations is preferred.
