What you'll be doing

  • Providing strong, visionary leadership to drive the company's growth and success
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve the company's short-term and long-term objectives
  • Overseeing all operational aspects of the business, including production, logistics, finance, and operational
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry partners
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing organisational culture
  • Identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities to expand the company's market share
  • Providing strategic advice and guidance to the senior management team

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a senior management or general management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transportation, or logistics industry
  • Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and identify innovative solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated track record of leading and motivating high-performing teams
  • Thorough understanding of the manufacturing, transportation, and logistics industry, including relevant laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Proven experience in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Proficient in financial management and budgeting
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or operations management; postgraduate qualifications are highly desirable
