We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Linux Specialist
to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and optimizing Linux-based systems that support mission-critical applications. You will work closely with DevOps, Security, and Network Engineering teams to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability across our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or equivalent) in production environments.
  • Implement system hardening, patch management, and security best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues, including performance tuning, kernel-level debugging, and service optimization.
  • Automate routine tasks using Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Manage containerized environments (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes preferred).
  • Monitor system health and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and infrastructure improvements.
  • Maintain documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and supporting Linux systems.
  • Deep understanding of Linux internals, filesystems, networking, and security.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, Ansible).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Proxmox, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Understanding of Zero Trust and enterprise security frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management.
