Key Accountabilities:

  • Assists in the planning, implementing and supporting the new technology solutions and upgrade as appropriate
  • Provide day-to-day management of Infrastructure services and support, performance and service monitoring, proactive system tuning, software/ application security patching/upgrade, backup operation and develop scripts for system automation job
  • Carry out system maintenance including installation, troubleshooting, disaster recovery planning, backup jobs monitoring
  • Ensure the infrastructure is configured and managed in a manner which provides the Management assurance and confidence that it is robust and stable at all times
  • Ensure the infrastructure are fulfilling compliance/security requirement
  • Prepare system documentation and operation manual
  • Follow cloud platform-specific security policies, standards, and procedures for management of groups and account/subscription and configuration (e.g. Azure Policy, Azure Security Center, AWS Config), identity management and access control, firewall management, auditing and monitoring, security incident and event management, data protection, user and administrator account management, SSO, conditional access controls and password/secrets management.
  • Execute best practices for IT delivery and operations for SGBU. Utilize systems and tools to implement cloud security infrastructure across the software application life cycle.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Degree holder in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent with more than 3 years of relevant experience gained in sizable organization Insurance background is a plus.
  • Good understanding and use of IT Infrastructure concepts including architecture, security, serverless, monitoring, and networking.
  • Good understanding of infrastructure security architecture, security assessments, audit standards for the Cloud, security threats in the cloud
  • Analytical, troubleshooting, and research skills with performance issues in production and development environments.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently.
  • At least 2-year experience with a cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.
  • In possession of industry recognized cloud certifications

Knowledge, skill and ability:

  • Hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure / AWS Cloud infrastructure services is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in Windows Server and Linux servers related management systems (Microsoft System CenterConfiguration Manager).
  • Hands on experience in system administration with scripting (e.g. PowerShell, VBScript, Windows command).
  • Hands-on experience in RedHat Linux and Satellite platform.
  • Able to work independent, self-motivated and willing to take challenges
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn new IT Technology
  • Azure/ AWS Cloud Certified
  • Advance level of CI/CD Software Deployment
  • Fair knowledge in Cloud technologies such as VPC, NSG, VM migrations, EC2 deployments, VNET Peering, Load Balancer, Landing zone, Application gateways, etc.
