Principle Accountabilities:

  • Group Reporting: Support the preparation and submission of financial reports to the Group headquarters based in Hong Kong and the UK. Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and internal reporting requirements set by Groups (i.e. Annual Premium Equivalent - APE Reports, Group Reporting System, Capital Solvency (RBC), Investment Reconciliation, etc).
  • Local Reporting: Manage and oversee local financial reporting in accordance with PSAK 104 and PSAK 117 standards. Ensure timely and accurate submission of external reports to OJK and AAJI, as well as several internal reports to management (i.e. BOD/BOC).
  • System Management: Utilize and maintain reporting systems such as SAS, Oracle, ETL, and OneStream. Familiarity with these systems is highly desirable.
  • Data Analysis: Perform detailed financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure all reporting activities comply with relevant financial regulations (including SOX) and standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to gather necessary data and ensure the accuracy of reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and implement best practices.

Job Specification:

  • Qualification:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience:

  • 1 year of experience in the insurance industry or as a public accountant handling clients in the insurance sector.

  • Proficient in reporting to Group headquarters and the local regulator (OJK).

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of IFRS, PSAK 104, and PSAK 117.

  • Proficiency in SAS, Oracle, ETL, and OneStream.
  • Regulatory reporting in Group or Local (RBC, GIECA, GWS)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
