About the role

As a Backend Developer Java for Syariah Banking at PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and efficient backend systems for the company's Syariah banking services. This full-time role is based in Central Jakarta, Jakarta.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement complex backend systems using Java technologies
  • Design and build scalable, high-performance, and secure RESTful APIs
  • Integrate backend services with frontend applications and databases
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Continuously optimize and improve the performance and reliability of backend systems
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in backend development

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Java backend development
  • Proficient in designing and building RESTful APIs using Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Springboot)
  • Solid understanding of database design, SQL, and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA)
  • Experience with message queuing systems, caching, and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
