Qualification:

  • Minimum
    Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
    or related field.
  • Mid-level:
    3+ years of experience |
    Senior-level:
    5+ years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of
    operating systems fundamentals
    (Windows/Linux).
  • Knowledge of
    networking concepts
    including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
  • Experience managing security applications such as
    Vulnerability Scanners, DLP, EDR, and SIEM platforms
    .
  • Skilled in performing
    security analysis and product assessments
    .
  • Familiarity with
    cloud environments
    is a strong plus.
  • Proficient in using
    Jira
    for task tracking and incident management.
  • Background in
    IT infrastructure or cybersecurity
    is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and health of security tools, ensuring continuous protection of the environment.
  • Investigate, triage, and respond to alerts and security incidents generated by SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and other monitoring tools.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Management) to remediate threats and execute response actions.
  • Document security incidents, root causes, and remediation steps in accordance with incident response procedures.
  • Manage software updates, security patches, and tool integrations, ensuring systems remain up-to-date and secure.
  • Test and deploy tool upgrades or new security components without disrupting business operations.
  • Prepare data, documentation, and reports for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Use SIEM, Grafana, and Prometheus for monitoring, analysis, and reporting on security events or system performance.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and assist in evaluating new security products or technologies.
  • Support continuous improvement of detection rules, alert logic, dashboards, and automation workflows.
  • Participate in security reviews for infrastructure changes, new applications, and vendor integrations.
  • Contribute to security awareness efforts by supporting training or sharing findings with relevant teams.
