Aftermarket Director

Our client operates in the heavy machinery industry, specializing in construction equipment such as excavators, cranes, concrete machinery, and mining equipment. Currently looking for an Aftermarket Director highly experienced in the heavy machinery with details as below.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead aftermarket strategy development, including parts, maintenance, refurbishment, leasing, and digital services.
2. Design business models and profit roadmaps to support long-term aftermarket growth.
3. Benchmark competitors (e.g., Komatsu) to shape differentiated service, parts, and loyalty strategies.
4. Build a full-lifecycle aftermarket system covering parts sales, maintenance, refurbishment, remanufacturing, and digital solutions.
5. Optimize supply chain processes to improve inventory turnover and delivery efficiency while reducing costs.
6. Create high-engagement aftermarket offerings such as warranties, service contracts, and membership programs.
7. Collaborate with dealers and service partners to develop an integrated aftermarket ecosystem and explore new business models.
8. Lead and develop the aftermarket team, establishing performance appraisal systems to achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements:

1. A Bachelor's degree graduate from a reputable university.
2. Proficient in English (required for candidates targeting multinational companies, with experience in cross-border team collaboration).
3. 10+ years of experience in the construction machinery or heavy equipment industry, with at least 5 years in aftermarket business management (parts, service, remanufacturing, used equipment, leasing, full maintenance, etc.).
4. Willingness to undertake frequent business trips (covering key regional markets and the dealer network).
5. Familiar with the entire aftermarket chain (parts supply chain, service network, technical support, customer operations).
6. Proven track record of successfully building an aftermarket system or achieving business growth in aftermarket field.
7. Strategic Thinking: Ability to design innovative business models considering industry trends.
8. Resource Integration: Skilled at coordinating internal and external resources (dealers, suppliers, technical teams).
9. Data-Driven: Proficient in using data analysis tools to optimize inventory, pricing, and service strategies.
