About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join PT. Origa Mulia FRP' as a Purchasing Supervisor. Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the purchasing and procurement functions for this leading manufacturing company based in Tangerang, Banten. This full-time position requires strong Mandarin and English language skills.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and oversee the end-to-end purchasing process, including supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, order placement, and delivery monitoring
  • Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, components, and other supplies to support production and operations
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new potential suppliers to expand the company's vendor network
  • Analyse purchase data and provide recommendations to improve procurement efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments such as production, logistics, and finance to align purchasing activities with business needs
  • Develop and implement purchasing policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance the overall procurement function
  • Supervise and mentor a team of purchasing officers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor Degree in any major
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Excellent command of Mandarin and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with the ability to build and maintain productive supplier relationships
  • Proficient in analyzing purchase data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing process improvements
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a team and providing effective leadership and mentorship
  • Familiarity with purchasing software and ERP systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • Preferably based in Tangerang
