We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Finance & Accounting department as a Tax Intern. This is an excellent opportunity for students or fresh graduates pursuing a diploma in finance, accounting, or a related field. The intern will gain hands-on experience in tax operations and accounting practices, contributing to our team while learning about the intricacies of tax regulations and compliance.
Job Description- Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns.
- Support the finance team in maintaining accurate tax records and documentation.
- Perform data entry and analysis using Excel spreadsheets.
- Gain knowledge in core tax functionalities and operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Participate in various accounting tasks as needed.
Conduct research on taxation laws and regulations to assist the team.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and taxation fundamentals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a focus on data manipulation and analysis.
- Basic understanding of core tax concepts and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
