Job Purpose

To deliver professional and authentic spa treatments and wellness services to guests in accordance with VIJE Boutique Resort & Spa standards and Balinese healing traditions. The Spa Therapist (Daily Worker) plays an essential role in creating a relaxing, rejuvenating, and memorable experience for every guest while ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and harmony of the spa environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesSpa Treatments & Guest Experience

  • Perform various spa treatments including traditional Balinese massage, body scrubs, facials, and beauty therapies according to spa protocols.
  • Ensure each treatment is delivered with professionalism, care, and genuine Balinese hospitality.
  • Prepare treatment rooms before and after each session, maintaining cleanliness and readiness at all times.
  • Offer warm, attentive, and personalized service to enhance guest comfort and satisfaction.
  • Maintain guest privacy, safety, and wellbeing throughout every session.

Spa Operations & Hygiene

  • Ensure all treatment rooms, tools, linens, and equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored.
  • Refill treatment supplies and report any shortages, damages, or maintenance issues to the Spa Supervisor.
  • Support daily spa operations, including guest welcome, preparation of amenities, and maintaining a serene spa atmosphere.
  • Adhere strictly to resort hygiene, health, and safety standards.

Communication & Teamwork

  • Communicate effectively with the Spa Supervisor and team regarding guest preferences, scheduling, and feedback.
  • Participate in daily briefings, training sessions, and team meetings.
  • Promote spa services and recommend suitable treatments or products when appropriate.
  • Uphold resort values of integrity, respect, and mindfulness in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum SMK graduate or certified from recognized Spa/Wellness training institution.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Spa Therapist (fresh graduates with certification are welcome).
  • Skilled in traditional Balinese massage and body treatments.
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy, body physiology, and aromatherapy.
  • Pleasant, professional, and service-oriented personality.
  • Able to communicate in basic English.
  • Physically fit, disciplined, and passionate about wellness and guest care.
  • Willing to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
