About the Role

We're looking for an Analytics Engineer Consultant to strengthen the company's data capabilities and support its Generative AI (GAI) initiatives. This role focuses on improving data pipelines to align with new data architecture designs and leveraging analytics to drive innovation in GAI solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex problems, and collaborates effectively with multiple stakeholders.

This role will be a 12-month contract and is subject to extension.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, and analysts to develop and enhance data-driven GAI solutions.
  2. Design and build scalable data pipelines and data models to ensure efficient data flow and signal generation for analytics and AI initiatives.
  3. Develop BI dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Power BI to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  4. Work independently across multiple projects, ensuring deliverables align with business and GAI objectives.
  5. Apply software engineering best practices, including version control (GitLab), CI/CD, and code reviews, to maintain data quality and consistency.
  6. Support automation and Generative AI efforts, including chatbot-related development and implementation.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of analytical experience, preferably in tech, e-commerce, or consulting environments.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other quantitative fields.
  • Strong skills in SQL, Presto, Hive, and programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Proficient in ETL processes and managing large, complex datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Fast learner, self-driven, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify analytical concepts for different audiences.
  • Full professional proficiency in English (and Bahasa Indonesia).
  • Preferably from a Computer Science or Computer Engineering background with a strong passion for data and analytics.
