We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Solutions team at PT Marsh. This role will be based in Jakarta. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • Work with clients to understand and quantify the loss incurred
  • Prepare the claims file for large loss submission to ensure all loss considerations are included
  • Work with the client, insurers and loss adjusters to reach an agreeable settlement

What you need to have: 

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma qualification in accounting
  • Accounting qualifications (or working towards a qualification) would be a plus
  • Minimally 4-5 years of working experience in accounting, audit, or professional services. Prior experience in claims, accounting or loss adjusting background would be preferred
  • An enquiring mind with natural numeracy skills, as the role is that of a forensic accountant where analysis of financial data will be core to the role
  • Willingness to learn, meticulous, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Prior experience working with clients and Insurers on major, complex, disputed or catastrophic losses
  • Prior experience in property, liability and/or business interruption claims will be highly beneficial
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
