About the role

As the Crewing Manager at PT Andalas Bahtera Baruna', you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the company's services. This full-time position is based in West Jakarta, Jakarta, and involves managing the recruitment, training, and deployment of the company's crew members to support the successful delivery of logistics solutions to our clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee the recruitment and selection of qualified crew members to meet the company's operational needs
  2. Develop and implement crew training programmes to ensure high standards of service delivery
  3. Manage the scheduling and deployment of crew members across the company's fleet of vessels and transport assets
  4. Liaise with all teams to ensure effective coordination of crewing requirements
  5. Monitor crew performance and provide feedback and support for professional development
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant maritime regulations and industry standards
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's crewing and staffing processes

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Marine Transportation Management or ANT II
  2. Extensive experience (5+ years) in a crewing or personnel management role in maritime industry
  3. Proven track record of successfully recruiting, training, and managing crews to support effective operations
  4. Strong understanding of maritime regulations, labour laws, and industry best practices
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  6. Proficient in the use of relevant crewing and HR management software and systems
  7. Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to respond to changing business needs
  8. Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
