Key Responsibilities

  1. Field Operations and Supervision

  2. Supervise the daily activities of field teams, including drilling, sampling, mapping, and data collection.

  3. Ensure the accuracy and consistency of geophysical logging and core sampling procedures.

  4. Provide on-site problem solving to keep operations running smoothly.

  5. Project Planning & Logistics

  6. Develop and execute exploration work plans and budgets in collaboration with the Exploration Manager.

  7. Create and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

  8. Develop logistics strategies to support projects, including forecasting material and equipment needs.

  9. Data Management and Technology Improvement

  10. Oversee the proper collection, storage, and management of geological data and core logs.

  11. Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly reports on exploration activities.

  12. Drive Technology Improvement initiatives, such as implementing predictive maintenance (e.g., using rig sensors) and Data Digitalization (web- or app-based systems).

  13. HSE and Stakeholder Management

  14. Enforce company HSE policies, SOPs, and procedures among all team members and contractors.

  15. Manage relationships with contractors, ensuring quality control and timely delivery of services.
  16. Support cross-functional teams (permitting, procurement, etc.) for smooth project execution.
Qualifications and Experiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Mining, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of drilling activities and sampling procedures.
  • Familiarity with industry software (e.g., Minescape, QGIS).
  • Knowledge of Sensor/IoT technology and Language programming is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and contractors.
