Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Product Designer based in Jakarta, with flexibility for some remote work. The Product Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centric designs for BookMyShow's products. Responsibilities include conducting user research, applying design thinking principles, refining product designs, and ensuring consistent visual design. The goal is to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences tailored to diverse entertainment needs.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Visual Design and Product Design to create aesthetically pleasing and functional designs.
  • Expertise in Design Thinking to solve complex problems and develop user-centric solutions.
  • Strong skills in User Research and UX Research to understand user needs and inform design decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate design insights effectively.
  • Experience with design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the entertainment industry or prior experience in similar roles is advantageous.

We're looking for someone who has/ Is:

  • At least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of proven work experience as product design and UX research in ecommerce industry
  • A Digital portfolio that demonstrates conceptual thinking, dynamic user experiences, a
  • data driven mindset and a knack for designing web apps
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Experience creating wireframes, user flows, sitemaps
  • Experience working with Sketch, prototyping and design tools such as InVision and Photoshop
  • Excellent analytical and strong problem-solving skills with willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A team Player with good interpersonal skills and proactive to work in a cross-cultural environment
  • Passion for the Arts & Entertainment Industry will be an added advantage
