About the role

Join the dynamic sales team at PT VOKSEL ELECTRIC Tbk. as a Sales Regional Batam (Bahasa Mandarin). In this full-time position, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding the company's presence in the Batam, Riau Islands region. Your fluency in Bahasa Mandarin will be a key asset in effectively engaging with clients and contributing to the company's success.

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively identify and cultivate new sales opportunities within the Batam region
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service
  • Understand client needs and recommend the most suitable products and solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and delivery
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences and other marketing events to promote the company's offerings

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry
  • Fluency in Bahasa Mandarin and English, both written and verbal
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Willingness to travel within the Batam region as required
