About the Role

As our IR & Legal Specialist, you'll be the key guardian of compliance — ensuring all company operations run seamlessly within legal and industrial frameworks. You'll manage employee and industrial relations, handle licensing and expatriate formalities, and provide strategic legal guidance to management. This role suits someone detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about balancing legal compliance with people engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies across all regions.
  • Manage employee and industrial relations, including dispute mediation and engagement with unions and authorities.
  • Oversee grievance procedures and workplace issue resolution, ensuring fairness and compliance.
  • Handle business licensing and OSS processes, ensuring all company permits and registrations remain valid.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (e.g., aircraft leases, supplier agreements, and service contracts).
  • Provide legal opinions and mitigate risks through sound advice and documentation.
  • Coordinate and manage disputes, investigations, and litigation when required.
  • Maintain alignment of company policies with labor, aviation, and commercial laws.
  • Liaise with government agencies, aviation regulators, and external legal counsel.
  • Manage visa, work permit, and expatriate formalities with appointed agencies.
  • Develop and review HR policies to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Conduct training on Indonesian labor law, company policy, and compliance matters.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and report HR and compliance data accurately.

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Industrial Relations, Legal, or Compliance.
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian labor law, BPJS, expatriate regulations, and OSS licensing.
  • Licensed advocate (PERADI) is highly preferred.
  • Independent, trustworthy, and able to provide pragmatic legal solutions in a dynamic environment.
