Job Overview

We are now seeking a motivated
Jr. Program Officer
to support the implementation of our STEM Program and ensure its success.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing key program activities aimed at enhancing the STEM knowledge and skills of students at high school levels and teachers. You will work closely with educational institutions, local authorities, and other partners to ensure the program's success and its positive impact on the beneficiaries.

Key Responsibilities

1.Program Implementation:

  • Oversee the day-to-day execution of the STEM Program, ensuring that all activities are conducted on schedule and meet the program's goals.
  • Manage logistics for program activities, including arranging venues, materials, and scheduling sessions.

2.Training and Workshops:

  • Plan and deliver STEM workshops, training sessions, and learning activities for high school students and teachers.

3.Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Foster partnerships with local schools, local education authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure the program's success and sustainability.

4.Collaboration and Communication:

  • Ensure that key information and updates are shared effectively, and feedback is gathered and acted upon. Promote a collaborative and inclusive approach to program implementation.

5.Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare regular reports and maintain records of program activities, feedback, and evaluations.

Job Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as STEM education, Informatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Teaching experience or involvement in educational programs, preferably with a focus on STEM subjects.
  • Passionate about STEM education especially coding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail.
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to develop creative solutions to educational challenges.
  • Strong English communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Good work ethics and professionalism attitude
  • Willing to work with flexible hours
