Pico Play that will be placed in Saudi Arabia
. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong background in art direction, design, and visual storytelling. The Senior Art Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the artistic vision and direction of our theme park and attraction projects, ensuring that all creative elements align with our brand and exceed guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative and compelling visual concepts for theme park attractions, shows, and experiences.
- Lead and mentor a team of artists, designers, and illustrators, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Work closely with the Creative Director, project managers, and other departments to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions.
- Oversee the entire design process, from concept development through final execution, ensuring high-quality standards and timely delivery.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously elevate the creative output.
- Create and present detailed visual presentations, mood boards, sketches, and prototypes to communicate design concepts to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and partners to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to the creative team, guiding them in achieving artistic excellence.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines and project goals.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Pico Play's brand identity and ensure all creative work aligns with our vision and values.
Requirements:
- 10 Years of Experience in themed entertainment construction / fabrication is highly valued. (Field art direction on at least one
major attraction, park, or fabricated environment
is preferred). - Strong understanding of materials used in themed fabrication — e.g., fiberglass, artificial foliage, scenic finishes, concrete, plaster, paints.
- Experienced as a site supervision for installation oversight and quality control.
- Excellent communication skills to interface with designers, project managers, engineers, and construction teams.
- Ability to problem-solve on site and adapt to schedule changes, evolving requirements, and technical challenges.
- Willingness to travel and work on construction sites.
