As Vice President, Human Resources (Indonesia), you will lead the people agenda across the country, partnering with the Country President and leadership team to enable business transformation, strengthen leadership capability, and drive a positive, inclusive workplace culture. You will play a critical role in shaping workforce strategy, ensuring HR operations excellence, and building organizational readiness for future growth.

What You Will Do
Strategic HR Partnership

  • Shape and execute country-level people strategies that directly support business transformation and growth.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Country President and senior leaders, translating business goals into actionable HR priorities.
  • Represent Indonesia in regional HR forums, contributing to the ASEAN people strategy and cross-market initiatives.

Capability & Leadership Development

  • Lead succession planning and talent development programs to strengthen leadership pipelines.
  • Facilitate leadership sessions and learning programs that embed future-ready skills and drive engagement.
  • Build HR capability across teams to support scalable, high-impact delivery.

HR Operations & Governance

  • Ensure effective delivery of core HR services, including payroll, compensation & benefits, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Embed robust governance, risk management, and labor law compliance across sites.
  • Use HR systems and data to inform decisions and improve workforce effectiveness.

Culture & Workforce Engagement

  • Champion an inclusive, high-performance culture grounded in BlueScope's values and leadership expectations.
  • Support site leaders in enhancing employee relations, with particular focus on manufacturing environments.
  • Lead change initiatives that reinforce trust, engagement, and organizational alignment.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner across commercial, manufacturing, and regional teams to ensure cohesive and business-aligned HR delivery.
  • Collaborate with peers across ASEAN to share best practices and co-create HR solutions.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years in progressive HR leadership roles, ideally with a mix of strategic and operational exposure.
  • Proven success driving business transformation, organization design, and talent strategy.
  • Strong grasp of HR operations, rewards, labor law compliance, and governance especially in manufacturing contexts.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate in complex, environments.
  • Experience leading teams and facilitating development at the leadership level.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field (Master's preferred).
