Position Overview

The Accounting Finance Supervisor will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the company. This individual will lead a team focused on ensuring accurate financial reporting, adherence to regulatory standards, and effective financial management strategies. Your expertise will directly contribute to the overall financial performance and strategic direction of BIOTA Smart Home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
  • Prepare and oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate external audits.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to refine processes and enhance financial performance.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance.
  • Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
