Position Overview:

This position will be responsible for supporting the ship operational area and will report directly to Ship Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Ship Manager in purchasing spare parts, services, and consumables for ships.
  • Assist Ship Manager liaise with Workshop to ensure all ship general maintenance, engine repair / overhaul is carry out timely.
  • Responsible for the validity of ship documents as well as controlling the documents, including ship certificates.
  • Monitors all the Monthly Reports from the ship.
  • Administration & correspondence to and from vessels.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Marine Engineering or related major.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in related field.
  • Posses solid experience in the container shipping company (especially for the technical/engineering field).
  • Willing to carry out not only operational tasks but also administrative tasks.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Willing to be placed at Jakarta office (Priok, Jakarta Utara).
