HSSEQ Superintendent

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HSSEQ (Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality) Superintendent to join our team at SOECHI GROUP' in Jakarta. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, security, environment and quality practices across our rail and maritime transport services. This is a full-time position based in our Jakarta office.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing, implementing and monitoring HSSEQ policies, procedures and management systems to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices
2. Conducting safety inspections, risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
3. Providing training and guidance to employees on HSSEQ protocols and best practices
4. Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in HSSEQ performance
6. Preparing comprehensive HSSEQ reports and presenting findings to senior management
7. Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, standards and trends related to HSSEQ

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar HSSEQ role, preferably in the rail or maritime transport industry
2. Strong working knowledge of HSSEQ regulations, standards and best practices applicable to the transport sector
3. Proven track record in developing and implementing effective HSSEQ management systems
4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
6. Proficient in data analysis and report writing
7. Valid NEBOSH or equivalent certification in occupational health and safety
