Job Purpose :

To support the planning and scheduling of maintenance and operational activities by preparing detailed job plans, technical work scopes, and resource estimates. The Engineer Planning ensures alignment between technical requirements and execution strategies, contributing to the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of the power plant.

Job Description :

  1. Prepare and update preventive and corrective maintenance strategies by considering equipment criticality, manufacturer guidelines, reliability data, and plant operational needs.
  2. Develop comprehensive job plans and work packages including required labor, spare parts, tools, equipment, and safety instructions to support safe and efficient maintenance execution
  3. Coordinate maintenance activities with Operations, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to ensure minimal disruption to plant operations and optimal resource utilization.
  4. Maintain and review maintenance data in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring accurate entry of work orders, equipment history, and feedback from execution teams.
  5. Monitor maintenance schedule adherence, identify work backlog, analyze trends in equipment performance, and propose improvements to planning and scheduling practices.
  6. Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and other reliability initiatives to identify equipment issues and contribute to improving maintenance strategies.
  7. Support the development of detailed turnaround or major outage plans, including scheduling, scope definition, and estimation of manpower and material requirements.

Job Qualification :

  1. Minimum Bachelor Degree or Diploma-4 in Engineering (Electrical, Controls, or Instrument preferable)
  2. Min 5 years experience in Planning or Power plant Engineering field
  3. Solid understanding on Combined Cycle Power plant operation & Proficiency in using CMMS and scheduling tools
  4. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
