Role description

Full-time Purchasing Raw Material role within PT. Hertz Flavors Makmur Indonesia is responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality raw materials for the company's manufacturing operations in Mojokerto, East Java. As a key member of the Procurement team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the business.

Your Mission
  • Design and implement governance policies for goods and services procurement processes.
  • Conducting periodic evaluations of the procurement process of goods and services
  • Maintain good relations with existing vendors
  • Manage cooperation contracts between companies and vendors
  • Conducting cost efficiency in the procurement of goods and services
  • Lead and manage the Purchasing Department
  • Cooperate and maintain good relations with all departments.
  • Communicating policies related to the procurement of goods and services to all departments.
  • Ensure all activities of the Purchasing Department are in accordance with Company Regulations and do not violate the law.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field
  • Have good proficiency in English (Business English)
  • At least 5 years of experience in a purchasing/procurement/export & import role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Have good negotiation, analysis and problem solving skills
  • Have good skills in using Microsoft Excel
  • Willing to work in Mojokerto, East Java


Preferred Qualifications
  • Having certification related to import or export training is an advantage
  • Having experience related to export and import activities related to company business especially raw materials is advantage
  • Having supplier database related to chemical or pharmacies industries are an advantage
  • A good understanding of raw material specifications, quality standards and inventory management
  • Have an extensive vendor network
