About the role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Staff Procurement / Purchasing to join our team at PT Kamadjaja Logistics' in Surabaya, Java. This full-time role is pivotal in supporting our company's logistics operations and will involve managing the procurement of critical supplies and materials.

What you'll be doing

  1. Sourcing and evaluating potential suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services
  2. Negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships to get the best value for the company
  3. Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring efficient stock management
  4. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements
  5. Monitoring market trends and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  6. Preparing purchase orders, invoices, and other procurement-related documentation
  7. Assisting with the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the logistics or manufacturing industry
  2. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  3. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  4. Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  5. Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management software
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Good communication and problem-solving skills
  8. Relevant qualifications or certifications in procurement or supply chain management
  9. Will be placed in Surabaya or Jakarta
