Job Title: Business Data Analyst

Job-Type: Full-time

Reports To: Head of Engineering

Location: Remote

What you'll be doing:
  1. Provide the business with clear and comprehensive data reports and meaningful insights;
  2. Design, build, and launch efficient ETL processes that integrate data from a variety of sources (MongoDB, SQL, spreadsheets, various APIs, etc.);
  3. Identify and troubleshoot data inconsistencies and develop data quality controls. Be responsible for data cleanliness, correctness and consistency;
  4. Proactively chase different stakeholders to get answers to data-related questions (operations, sales, finance, tech teams).
What makes you a great fit:
  1. 3+ years of working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst in a startup/fast changing environment;
  2. Excellent troubleshooting skills;
  3. Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques;
  4. Deep knowledge of SQL and Excel. Familiarity with MongoDB is a plus;
  5. Python. Knowledge of any other programming languages is a plus;
  6. Experience in building data warehouses, experience with dbt, familiarity with Google BigQuery, Metabase or analogs;
  7. Experience in data visualization and BI tools (especially, Looker Studio);
  8. Linux, Docker, CLI are familiar words to you;
  9. BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics;
  10. Fluent in written and spoken English.
