INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) TEACHER
About The Role
We are looking for a hardworking teacher who has a passion for the subject and can deliver engaging lessons that develop student's intellectual curiosity. The Ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching ICT to Primary and Secondary students and integrating technology creatively into lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with school and Curriculum standards.
· Teach digital literacy, computer skills and technology based projects for students in Primary and Secondary.
· Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated ICT curriculum for students
· To be responsible for the teaching of ICT Computer Science, including tracking and assessing students' work
· To oversee the e-safety provision at the school, including staff and pupil workshops.
· Highly motivated to serve children, can engage students in the teaching and learning process, and sets high standards for self and students.
· Preparing up-to-date teaching resources and instructional materials to increase students' joy and effective engagement in their learning.
· Demonstrate an understanding of interdisciplinary teaching and learning.
· Continuously monitor students' progress and make necessary changes in teaching strategies and lesson plans to meet students' needs.
· Collaborative and demonstrates independence and enthusiasm in sharing professional practices with colleagues.
· Understands, respects, and appreciates diverse cultures, and a sense of global stewardship and responsibility.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Bachelor of Computer Science/Information Technology or higher from an accredited institution.
· Minimum of 4 years teaching experience.
· Teaching in International school experience preferred.
· Have a sound understanding of Indonesian Curriculum (e.g. Curriculum Merdeka), IPC, IMYC and Cambridge/IGCSE will be an advantage.
· Excellent English communication skill, both spoken and written.
· Strong classroom management and communication skills.
· Having in-depth knowledge of the subject.
· Proficient in educational technology tools (Google workspace, Kahoot, Canva, coding, etc).
· Has in-depth knowledge of the learners' profile attributes and can support the students in developing desired skills aligned with them.
· Passionate about professional and personal growth to improve teaching practices.
