Roles and Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and manage both technical and business processes to ensure efficiency and alignment with business requirements.
  • Provide expert analysis and design advice to ensure system solutions meet management and business expectations.
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution to meet agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Manage project teams by defining roles, setting performance objectives, and providing coaching and performance evaluations.
  • Review business requirements, functional specifications, and other project documents to ensure scope alignment and compliance with development standards.
  • Coordinate across multiple work groups to maintain project progress and meet overall objectives.
  • Prepare or review project-related documentation such as Business Cases, IT Building Permits, Risk Assessments, and Security Questionnaires.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan and review project budgets (OPEX and CAPEX).
  • Provide consultation to business users regarding system and application solutions.
  • Foster effective collaboration between IT and business units to achieve shared goals.
  • Provide leadership to develop a capable, productive, and engaged workforce.

Control and Governance

  • Ensure compliance with IT governance standards, including QA, Compliance, Systems Architecture, and Information Security.
  • Review progress and coordination across teams to maintain alignment with IT objectives.
  • Escalate and resolve IT-related issues promptly.
  • Keep management informed of project and IT initiative statuses.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.

Performance Indicators:

  • Delivery of quality IT projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Controlled scope changes during development.
  • Positive feedback on systems delivered.
  • UAT issue resolution should not exceed 10% of total project man-hours.

Minimum Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience managing medium to large IT projects.
  • Strong background in IT Service Delivery as a System Analyst or Development Team Lead, preferably with experience in Project Management or Business Analysis.
  • Experience working with outsourced teams and managing smooth transitions.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems management, design, and implementation.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of IT and business processes, change management, and distributed/legacy systems.
  • Familiarity with development methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, or XP.
  • Proven track record in delivering medium to large-scale projects.
  • General understanding of technology trends and best practices.
  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
