Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation for each project phase.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (internal and external) including developers, designers, and vendors.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks or roadblocks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business and technical requirements.
  • Communicate project status, timelines, and updates clearly and regularly to all stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts related to software, hardware, or IT services.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and recommend improvements for future projects.
  • Maintain documentation for each project, including technical specifications, reports, and user manuals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an IT Project Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and system integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
