About the role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer for the Banking industry at PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions for our clients in the financial sector. This is a contract position based in Central Jakarta, Jakarta.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive test plans and strategies to identify and mitigate software defects
  • Performing manual and automated testing to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand requirements and provide feedback on the quality of the software
  • Documenting test cases, test results, and defects, and providing detailed reports to stakeholders
  • Continuously improving testing processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA function
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field of software testing and quality assurance

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, with a strong background in software testing for the banking industry
  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques, including the use of tools like Selenium, Appium, and Postman
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies
  • Experience in writing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and defect reports
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
