About the Role

UMAI Group, a growing Japanese food brand, is looking for a Creative Media Specialist to bring our brand to life through engaging visuals, videos, and social media content. This role is perfect for someone with a strong creative mindset who can spot trends (FYP/viral content) and adapt them into high-quality media that reflects UMAI Group's identity and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce engaging content (photos, videos, graphics) for social media, campaigns, and promotions
  • Edit photos and videos to meet brand standards and ensure professional-quality output.
  • Manage UMAI Group's social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) and grow engagement.
  • Identify and adapt trending content (FYP, viral formats, memes) while maintaining consistency with brand values.
  • Develop creative ideas to highlight products, seasonal promotions, and events.
  • Work closely with marketing and operational teams to align media output with business goals.
  • Track social media performance through analytics and adjust content strategies as needed.
  • Stay updated with the latest creative, social media, and digital marketing trends, especially within F&B.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in content creation, graphic design, or video editing.
  • Proficiency with creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube)
  • Creative mindset with quick adaptability to trends (especially FYP content).
  • Strong eye for detail in design, storytelling, and aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality content.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Passion for food, lifestyle, or F&B brands — bonus if you love Japanese cuisine.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the F&B, lifestyle, or creative agency sector.
  • Basic photography and videography skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts.
