About the role

This is a full-time role for a Documentation Engineer Staff at PT. SDEPCI INDONESIA' based in Malang Regency, East Java. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality documentation and technical support to the engineering team, ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of the company's products and services.

What you'll be doing

Documentation Management

  • Receive, register, distribute, archive, and store project documents, files, and drawings.
  • Manage contracts, correspondences, technical documents, engineering change orders, minutes of meeting , etc.
  • Establish and maintain both physical and digital documentation systems.

Data Compilation

  • Collect construction documents according to project progress (material inspections, inspection batches, concealed work acceptance, installation records, etc.).
  • Follow up with departments to ensure timely submission of required documents.
  • Participate in the preparation and handover of project completion documents.

Document Transmission & Coordination

  • Upload and transfer documents from/to the owner, supervisor, and contractor in a timely manner.
  • Assist in preparing meeting materials and submission lists.

System Management

  • Manage the project's document management system, ensuring proper uploading procedures and accurate information.
  • Maintain directory structures and perform regular backups.
  • Coordinate documentation requirements with Indonesian owners, supervisors, government authorities, and PLN.

Perform other documentation-related tasks assigned by the management.

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Engineering Management, Archive Management, Administration, or related fields.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience with engineering documentation processes; experience in construction, power, or energy projects such us PLTS, PLTA, PLTU etc.
  3. Proficient in using documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Office, PDF tools, and documentation systems.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical information for diverse audiences
  5. Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-oriented mindset
  6. English or Indonesian language skills are preferred.
